Sun On Shade aims to make you feel like you're always on vacation. Inspired by luxury hotels, European holidays, and that classic elegance found in every Nancy Meyers movie, each piece designed for Sun On Shade is made intentionally to make you always feel like you're on vacation.

We take things slow around here because we're focused on quality over quantity. Our pieces are designed to last, not only in the quality of the product but to transcend the trend cycles of fast-fashion. We create each piece with great attention to detail because, well, we're women! We're detail-oriented creatures. We think about things like "what kind of bra could I wear with this?" or "how can we make this strapless swimsuit not aspire to be a waist belt?".

Because we are always considering the details, we also wanted to consider how we're sourcing materials and manufacturing our products in the most ethical way possible. We scoured the globe to find the best, most ethical factories creating top-quality materials for our garments. We chose factories that are GOTS and OCS certified for our linens, which are made in India, and OEKO-TEX certified swimwear fabrics, which are made in Italy. We knew from the start we wanted to manufacture our designs in the USA because we have the best workplace practices compared to other clothing manufacturers around the world. Was it the most cost-effective way to make our clothes? No. But it is the most ethical and it helps stimulate our economy right here at home.

We're so proud of the work we've accomplished to bring you elegant, capsule wardrobe designs using the most ethical and sustainable practices we can find. We're always looking for ways to do better, for our customers and for the companies we choose to work with. At the end of the day, we're all just walking each other home.
